I was an XR game designer at ByteDance (PICO). Previously, I worked at DJI and was the designer of DJI Virtual Flight. I aim to explore various possibilities and boundaries of game design and development to bring more innovative experiences to the world.

DJI Virtual Flight

DJI Virtual Flight is a simulation game that focuses on teaching new FPV users and providing them a simulated environment to practice before getting on to real drones. Right now the game has helped over 610,000 players learn FPV with this unique approach.

MR Space

"MR Space" is a product developed by ByteDance based on Mixed Reality. It aims to provide users with an entertaining and forward-looking display of MR, as well as show users how its features can create more immersive experiences for the future.

Realm of Dream

During my tenure at PICO, I collaborated with Jiang Ke, the former Art Director at ThatGameCompany, known for their acclaimed works "Journey" and "Sky." Together, we developed "Realm of Dream" and released it on the PICO store.

Matrix Arena

"Matrix Arena" is a first-person 1v1 local network game based on Mixed Reality. It aims to highlight the features of MR by expanding the boundaries of FPS games and exploring the boundaries of game categories accordingly.

Fruit Battle v 2.0

Fruit Battle 2.0 is a top-down shooting survival game with a unique ability system. Players casts skills based on the magic bullet they choose.  Different combination of magic bullets will activate various skills that come in handy.

Dr. NANO

Dr. Nano is a VR game designed for Herston Biofabracation Institute for patients with no VR experience to introduce the futuristic medical solutions. It also educate patients through fun and interactive approach to give them an idea of the medical process.

Game AI practice

These three projects explore three subjects of game AI:

1. Path-finding algorithm both use A* and Greedy with FSM approach

2. Bee algorithm imitates bee hive behavior

3. Behavior tree to mimic player behavior

Poetic Garden

Poetic Garden is not just a board game, it's a journey into a serene world of ancient Chinese gardens. With its captivating blend of traditional aesthetics and modern gameplay, Poetic Garden invites players to unwind and find inner peace. Its simple rules make it easy to play, while its elegant design offers a truly immersive experience. Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and indulge in some Eastern-inspired relaxation with Poetic Garden.

Interaction design Patents

MR - Clock

MR-Clock is a reconstruction of the common clock in an MR (mixed reality) environment. This design utilizes the characteristics of a hexahedron, giving the clock six different functions. This design ultimately obtained a Chinese design patent.

MR - News

MR-News is a new type of interactive radio in an MR (mixed reality) environment. It utilizes elements such as the Earth and bubbles to associate the concept of global news and messages. The overall design is interesting and explores the boundaries of various practical widgets in an MR environment. This design ultimately obtained a Chinese design patent.
